Dear Parent/Carer,

We hope that the information below, compiled by the Governors of St. Andrew's C.E. Primary School, will assist you in your selection of a school for your child.  We are a Church of England school and agree our own admissions criteria and manage our own waiting list.  Our Published Admissions Number (PAN) for 2020 is 90. We have 45 Foundation places (which require Church attendance) and 45 Community places (allocated by distance). Siblings are given priority within each criteria.

Brighton and Hove Admissions require all applications to be made on-line through their website Brighton and Hove School Admissions .  If you are applying for a Foundation place at our school under criteria 2 - 11 you must also complete our Supplementary Information and Church Reference Form (see below).  Please read the Governors' oversubscription criteria and additional notes carefully and decide which number on the criteria applies to your application.

A local authority (LA) booklet listing all the schools in the area can be obtained from the School Admissions Department at Brighton & Hove City Council (Tel: 01273 293653) or viewed on their website.

APPLICATIONS FOR RECEPTION 2020 - closing date is 15th January 2020 and National Offer Day is 16th April 2020

What happens if you apply late?  It is less likely that you will be offered a place at one of your preferred schools and you may have to wait to get an offer after National Offer Day. If there is a good reason why the school application is late, we will consider it as on time if we receive it by 8th March. You must provide independent supporting evidence of the good reason, or your application will be treated as late.

Please see the Brighton and Hove website: Brighton and Hove - Late Applications

Please complete the Supplementary Information and Church Reference Form and return to School.
